Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday paid his last respects to senior journalist Kamani Alwis at her residence in Malabe.

Parliamentarian Kavinda Jayawardena and Deputy Minister Karunaratne Paranavithana were also present.The funeral of veteran journalist Kamani Alwis was held at General Cemetery, Borella amidst a large gathering of media colleagues, relatives and family friends.
